Why Did I Work So Hard to Get a "Followers" button So That I Can See Who Reads My Blog?

Despite the fact that it drove me to drink (a coffee drink), I finally figured out how to find out who is reading this blog of mine.  The reason this was of such importance to me was to make it easier for my biographers, who will be many after I no longer inhabit this earthly vessel and people come to see what a great writer I was and what an interesting life I led, to research my life and writings.  Also, for the present, while I am still very much inhabiting the earthly vessel God has given me to dwell in, it is SO much easier and also more fun to write when you know who will (hopefully) be reading what you write.  I was on the computer last night, reading about how to make your blog more popular, and the article reminded its readers that it's the quality and not just the quantity of readers that is what you really want-and I agree:  so here is a list of attributes that I would like in a follower:  someone who knows me or is willing to get to know me through my posts, someone who enjoys a good laugh, someone who enjoys some serious reflection, someone who is a grammar snob like me, yet like me doesn't know or adhere to all the rules of grammar, and pretty much anyone else.  But I do want to know my readers and their thoughts, and I will respond to each and every comment-assuming they are allowed on this blog; I haven't gotten that far yet.
